The leader of the director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism personally welcomed the delegation with gifts of some Vietnamese souvenirs such as conical hats and bandanas.
The delegation received many attractive gifts and preferential policies on food, shopping, and staying at hotels in Ho Chi Minh City at the welcome ceremony.
Ho Chi Minh City is the stopover, the most extended stay for the group of tourists with a schedule to experience, visit, and enjoy Vietnamese cuisine and high-quality services. American tourists, most of them coming to Vietnam for the first time, could not hide their surprise at the warm and hospitable welcome.
Female tourist Stephanie, Wyoming, said that the 10-day tour in Vietnam is a destination with beautiful scenery, delicious food, and the hospitality of the people in each place she goes through.
“We were introduced to the beautiful scenery of the North, the Central, and the South, but the service was very attentive and hospitable everywhere. Today’s welcome ceremony was the whole trip’s highlight,” said Stephanie.
Tourist Terry Keyes also affirmed that he would return to Vietnam because there are so many delicious Vietnamese street foods and beautiful scenery here to explore further, especially after two years of not traveling.
