By | April 1, 2022

From mid-March, people vaccinated against COVID-19 or who have recovered from the disease will be allowed to enter Vietnam without a quick test for Covid-19. The Stuttgarter Nachrichten newspaper listed five reasons why foreign tourists should come to Vietnam at this time.

The first is good food. The article reviews Vietnamese cuisine as among the best globally, in which fish and meat are the main dishes. Vegetarians also have a variety of options at the restaurants.

In particular, it is worth it for those who like to eat water to come to Vietnam because the “national dish” pho is very special with noodles, meat, and Vietnamese herbs. Besides, fresh spring rolls, fried spring rolls, and bread are excellent dishes.

The second highlight of Vietnam – it’s a country full of sunshine and beautiful beaches. Thanks to its long coastline, Vietnam has many beautiful beaches, including Ha Long Bay in the North, with limestone mountains and turquoise water that make this UNESCO world natural heritage more attractive to guests.

Visitors can also explore a multitude of caves. Small and unspoiled islands are also worth visiting, such as Phu Quoc; this island has a great national park and has lovely white sand beaches.

The third reason to come to Vietnam is to spend at least three days visiting the Mekong Delta region; the river is considered the lifeline of the locals. The fertile soil allows people to harvest up to 3 rice crops a year. That’s why there are so many vast fields to admire here.

In addition, this area also has a highlight is Cai Rang floating market, where hundreds of boats are loaded with fruits of Vietnam and other goods.

The fourth exciting thing to discover in Vietnam is the old quarters. Vietnam has narrow, historic streets and ancient pagodas.

Hoi An ancient town is one of the only ancient towns that were not destroyed during the war, and that is why Hoi An old town is included in the UNESCO list of the world’s cultural heritage.

Hanoi is also a place worth visiting, where visitors can see the typical Vietnamese life when coming to Hanoi’s old quarters.

The last highlight mentioned by the German newspaper is that Vietnam is endowed with stunning natural landscapes, from green terraces to white dunes.

If you want to immerse yourself in nature, visitors should not ignore Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park – a cave system with the world’s longest underground river.

Besides, Nui Chua National Park, located on the east coast of Vietnam, is also excellent, where over 600 species of plants and more than 200 species of animals are waiting to be discovered.
