During the holidays of April 30 and May 1, Da Nang City has launched a series of new products, including a sightseeing tour by helicopter. Tour organized by Northern Helicopter Company
The program has two types of tours for visitors to choose from. The first is the “exploration tour” with a flight time of 12 minutes, and the second is the “conquest tour” with a flight time of 30 minutes.
Each flight serves from 3 to 4 passengers. This tour was opened in February 2015 and paused for a while because of Covid-19. The helicopter used for the Da Nang sightseeing tour from above belongs to the BELL 505 type, entirely imported from the United States.
This is the most modern light tourist helicopter today of the famous helicopter manufacturer Bell Helicopter (USA), which has just been put into commercial operation in 2019.
The condition to make this helicopter flight is enough for at least 3 passengers to buy tickets or customers to buy at least 3 tickets. Children under 2 years old are free, and children under 2 years old are charged as adults. Passengers participating in the flight must bring identification and be present 20 minutes before flight time for check-in.
Each flight has 1 pilot, departing from Nuoc Man airport – Ngu Hanh Son district. The helicopter has a modern interior, maximum safety, an open design, panoramic view, and it is convenient for guests to experience in the air. We can say that this is a top thing to do in Da Nang
The first destination of the 12-minute flight is the scenic Marble Mountains. This place has five limestone mountains jutting out on the coastal sandy beach, with green trees.
Next, helicopters will fly along Da Nang beach for guests to see the beautiful beach, high-rise coastal buildings, high-class resorts & hotels in Da Nang.
Next, the helicopter takes visitors to see the unspoiled beauty of Son Tra peninsula and admire the statue of Quan Am Buddha at Linh Ung Pagoda.
On the way back to the airport to land, the helicopter will take guests to fly over a section of the Han River to see the Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, Thuan Phuoc, Tran Thi Ly, and the urban areas on both sides of the river.
