The 18th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2022 will take place from May 14 to 17, 2022, at Le Van Tam Park (District 1) with the theme “Vibrant experiences”.
The program message is “Ho Chi Minh City welcomes you - Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City”. The information was given by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism leaders at a press conference on the morning of May 5.
Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism Le Truong Hien Hoa said that the 18th Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival in 2022 is an annual event in the city’s tourism industry.
The festival aims to restore and create a new atmosphere for tourism throughout the country and is also a transformational step to adapt after the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic; improve the quality of tourism services, and promote the image of the destination of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general to tourists.
In addition, the festival is also an opportunity to stimulate domestic tourism in the summer of 2022 and create opportunities for businesses in the city to promote and introduce the city’s tourism stimulus program.
At the same time, creating conditions for localities and businesses to access and introduce tourism products and services to visitors, especially the Ho Chi Minh City market, contributes to promoting tourism development linkages with regions in the coming time.
The event has the participation of more than 100 units. More than 50 provinces and cities; 38 tourism service businesses; 11 restaurants and airlines (Vietnam Airlines, VietJet Air, Vietravel Airlines, Bamboo Airways).
The space of the booths will be arranged into 3 areas: Tourism stimulus space for travel businesses and hotels; travel transport enterprises, domestic and international airlines; Exhibition space for tourism destinations and regional specialties in Vietnam; Culinary space.
