The museum’s specialty is that it takes coal, the most famous mineral of Quang Ninh, as its symbol. The color of the coal covers all the walls. Inside the museum, there are three floors with different themes.

The first floor is the place of sea and nature, where people can find columns reflecting the rocky mountains of Ha Long Bay. The second one is like an exhibition with many designs of boats and archaeological artifacts.
