Ingredients
- Bacon or pork leg meat 500 gr
- 5 boiled duck eggs
- Coconut water 400 ml
- Minced onion 1 tablespoon
- Minced garlic 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce 3 tablespoons
- Common seasoning (Sugar/ seasoning/ ground pepper)
Instructions
Step 1: Marinate the meat
After buying pork belly or pork, wash it with salt water, drain it, cut it into bite-sized pieces, and put it in a bowl. So choose meat with thin skin to keep it delicious, soft, and not sick.
In turn, add 1 tablespoon minced onion, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 3 tablespoons fish sauce, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1/3 tablespoon seasoning, and 1 teaspoon pepper; mix well.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and marinate for at least 1 hour for the meat to absorb the spices.
Step 2: Make Caramelized
Put the pot on the stove, put 1 teaspoon of sugar in the pool and cook on medium heat; simultaneously stir with chopsticks until the sugar water turns brown, then turn off the heat. Wait for the sugar to cool; the color will be darker; add 1/2 cup of filtered water to thin it out.
Step 3: You put the marinated meat into the pot of brown sugar water just completed in step 2, stir with high heat until the meat pork is hunted, pour 400ml of coconut water and 5 shelled boiled duck eggs into the pot, then cover and Cook for 30 minutes until the meat is tender, then turn off the heat.
